The Imperial East Garden is a part of the palace that is open to the public. The Palace itself is full of history although the main buildings are all gone, however, it is still amazing to see the walls and moats that once protected the palace. The garden is a traditional Japanese style garden and is a great place to walk around to escape busy Tokyo life. It is a great place for people, locals or non locals to spend time at if you love nature or buildings with rich history. Also has beautiful cherry blossoms during late march mid april!
