Hi there! Tim here
This is preparation for a month trip from Tokyo to Matsuyama by bike and train arriving end of June.
I'm 22 year old Australian (Melbourne) civil engineering student.
Have a friend in Tokyo but elsewhere will be travelling solo which is a little daunting atm. A few connections and a concrete plan will put me at ease so am focusing on developing these asap.
I am very laid back and open. I've grown up by the coast surfing and swimming. I love nature, hiking and cycling! I also love meeting people and seeing the awesome diversity in lifestyles across the world.
I study Civil Engineering at Monash Uni and have spent time travelling and studying in Europe.
Will love to share all my knowledge of the land down under and some good company and Japanese experiences!
Thank-you very much.
Please send me a message about anything you like. Even if it has nothing to do with my trip :)

- About the trip:
- Hi I'm Tim. A 22 year old Melbourne born Engineering and recently Japanese student.
I'm super excited to be visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and anything and everything inbetween.
For a month I have no strict plans but will bring a bicycle and may be helping to teach English for a week or two with a friend in Tokyo.
Starting to feel it's time to find some other friends to share the travels with as he is locked in.
I am very open minded and enjoy almost anything especially things new and Japanese.
Super keen to climb Fuji and do other hikes and camping trips during this period. We can escape some of the heat in the mountains!
