Nachi Falls is a must go when you're in Wakayama! It's a beautiful sight and is so serene. With the shrine, Nachi Falls is picture perfect and embodies Japan's beauty. It also happens to be the tallest waterfall in Japan. The best time to go is probably in the fall, the foliage makes for a stunning sight. To enter the pagoda, it costs around ¥200. You can take a short hike up Daimonzaka to get to Nachi Falls. The hike isn't too bad, you just have to climb a cobblestone staircase. The path is surrounded by ancient trees, which is very calming.
