Here you can get handcrafted fans and lanterns, made by an a master craftsman. You can can try out the calligraphy called Edomoji as well! The cost is 4000yen per person, but to be able to learn this type of calligraphy from a master craftsman, I urge you not to miss out! Truly a unique experience while in Japan in a very culturally rich area of Tokyo. He works out of his little studio, surrounded by different brushes and inks. You will get a true insight into the life of a traditional artist in the modern world. Other places may offer calligraphy lessons, but they will not offer how to write Edomoji. Edomoji is a special style of writing that was used to write advertising on lanterns in the Edo period. It's very distinct and stylistic. Being able to learn how to write it is a very cool and definitely unique experience.
