This newly opened shop in trendy Harajuku is pricier than the other shops mentioned here, but that could be because their kimonos blend the traditional and the modern. The prints on their kimonos are cute, quirky, loud—just like the kind of fashion that Harajuku is known for. The rental option, sadly, is just for two hours, but if there’s any consolation, the designs are unique; you definitely won’t be seeing those kinds of patterns elsewhere. As of this writing, the shop only seems to have kimonos for women, though.
