Kachidoki Bridge itself seems to be just a plain bridge which crosses over Sumida River but it is the spot under the bridge that I want to comment on. On both sides of the river there is a walkway perfect for taking a walk or just relaxing. The bridge is located about 5 minutes walk from Tsukiji Fish Market and after a morning of walking around the packed passages full of busy fish shops and tourists this area seems to be the best place to sit back and relax.
Although it may not seem like much the walkway is very wide with a lot of brush and even benches along the sides. The wide river and the bridge make for an amazing view and the lapping of the water against the side makes for a surprisingly relaxing place. On top of this you can watch boats coming and going along the river which is also fun.
If you are close to Tsukiji Fish Market you should definitely check this area out as it is a good escape after the busy market place. Another nearby place I would recommend is Namiyoke Inari Shrine which is just around the corner. (Link Below)
