In the factory tour, visitors can learn about the process of making Miso with panels, observe miso wooden barrels in the warehouse and enjoy tasting “Oden”, a Japanese winter dish where ingredients such as boiled eggs, daikon radish and fish cakes are stewed in a light soy-flavored broth, with “Hacho Miso” Hacho Miso is a type of darker miso traditionally from Aichi prefecture.
The guided tour is offered in Japanese (but basic English is OK) and takes approximately 30 minutes. There is also an English guide book.
